Timothy W. Hogan is an internationally recognised author, lecturer and researcher of the Western Mystery Tradition, with decades of study dedicated to sacred symbolism, comparative religion, Hermetic philosophy, Freemasonry, Rosicrucian traditions and the initiatory systems of the ancient world.

As Grandmaster of the Knights Templar within an esoteric initiatory lineage, he has devoted much of his work to the spiritual, historical and symbolic traditions associated with the Templars and their connection to the broader stream of Western esotericism.

He has written more than a dozen books on Templar history, initiation and symbolism, and lectures on those subjects across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas. His research has taken him to Jerusalem, Petra, Tomar, Rosslyn, Malta and the Nile valley, often working alongside local historians, archaeologists and custodians of the sites themselves.

Those relationships are the reason our groups are granted access that ordinary tours are not: private hours inside the Great Pyramid, the Sphinx enclosure, the Osirion and other chambers normally closed to the public.

On expedition, his lectures and guided discussions bridge archaeology, symbolism, comparative mysticism and sacred history — inviting travelers to engage with each destination not only as an ancient civilisation, but as a living repository of initiatory knowledge. He travels with every group personally, from the welcome dinner to the final departure.
